Narayaneeyam the devotional song for Lord Krishna played every morning at Guruvayur temple and sung by P. Leela was the result of days of hard work under the strict guidance of Dr. S.K.. Nayar for diction, clarity, meaning and expression.
"Mangala darsahana dayige" in praise of Mookambika Devi & Ennine darshanam for Lord Krishna were penned by Dr. S.K. Nayar.

Dr. S.K. Nayar was a much sought after guide and expert for many famous Malayalam and some regional language producers, directors, production houses, lyricists etc. His comradeship and guidance extended to M.G. Chakrapani, MGR, Merryland Subramaniam, Associated Vasu, Balaji, Udaya Kunchako, K.M.K. Menon, M.T Vasudevan Nair, Puttana Kanagal, Thikurshi Sukumaran Nair, M.O.Joseph, Thirumeni pictures Kaimal, Sreekumaran Thambi, Abhaya Dev, Kalanilayam Krishnan Nair, Ramu Kariat, Kamukara Purushottaman, M.S. Vishwanathan, Seerkazhi Govindarajan, Bichu Thirumalla, Kollam S.K. Nair, Malayattur Ramakrishnan to name a few. Vayalar Ramavarma and Dr.S.K. Nayar shared an affectionate bond as with many others earlier mentioned. Similarly, Kunchako and his family, Kaimal and M.O. Joseph shared a long bond with S.K. Dr. K.J. Jesudas and family maintained a strong bond with Saar as they called him and continue their friendship with the family,
Movie stars such as, Prem Nazeer, Gemini Ganesan, T.A Madhuram, N.S. Krishnan, Adoor Bhasi, Sheela, Ummer, Travancore sisters (Padmini, Ragini and families) Madhu, Janardhanan, Maniampilla Raju, Soman, Jagathy Sreekumar, Mallika Sukumaran and scores of others, were visitors at his residence in Chennai. They either had pressing questions or simply enjoyed his company and a few had established a life long friendship with S.K.'s son C.K. Sarath and other children.
S.K. authored radio plays, wrote and delivered speeches on a continual basis at All India Radio; produced and directed television plays in Sanskrit and Malayalam during the early advent of DD Chennai and had a slot for Indian Bank promotional radio plays for a few years between 1980-83. Many of these efforts also involved acting, lyric writing, voice overs and included noted film actors such as, Mohan and playback singers such as, P Leela and P. Jayachandran.
S.K. wrote screenplays for movies that included Mayor Nair (translation of Thomas Hardy’s Mayor of Casterbridge) S.K. also served as a member of the Film Censor Board between 1952 and 1962.

Movie was not released but the songs Enninini darshanam and Managala darshana dayige were written by Dr. S.K. Nayar.
